Back at the CLA, it feels like yesterday we were at Ragley hall for the CLA last year. My sister Jessica was yet again roped in to help and did a stirling job despite the heat, it was so hot our banner melted! luckily Richard Reynolds from Barbourne Cider was there to keep us plied with lots of cooling cider.

Potted Game sponsored Sophie Sheppard in a charity race in aid of Kids Company which helps exceptionally vulnerable and traumatised children. It was a beautiful evening and Sophie finished in fine style!

We are now both back at work after a rather more relaxing January than December to put it very mildly! We are taking advantage of this quiet time and working on some new products and flavours. We will keep you posted.

We now have a quiet month or 2 after the mad Christmas rush. We will be working on some new recipies to add to our range and will keep you posted.
We have relaunched for Christmas our Potted Grouse with Truffles which picked up 3 stars at this years Great Taste Awards.
We are happy to be able to announce that we are now stocked at the House of Bruar. Anyone heading up the A9 can now pick up a few pots on the way past. Potted game makes a great car snack too!.
Potted Game Press day
As you can see there was no sunshine, however a great day was had by all. We went shooting in the morning followed by a warming venison stew for lunch accompanied by delicious wine kindly provided by The Three Choirs Vineyard. We then went back to our kitchens to pot the spoils of our mornings activities!
We are all looking forward to our press day. A morning on the clay traps, a shot at some pheasants and partidges and back to the kitchen for a master class in potting! Fingers crossed for sunshine.
We are very excited to announce that Potted Game is now available in the foodhalls of Selfridges and Fortnum and Masons in London. We will be in Selfridges on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to offer samples and chat to all and sundry so please come along.
We have just found out that we won 3 Gold stars for our Potted Trout, Potted Grouse and Potted Wildboar and 1 gold star for our Potted Partridge at this year's Great Taste Awards. Even Better our Potted Wildboar with Smoked Ham Hock and Sherry got down to the final 50 in the Country!

We have been working on some new recipies, Potted Quail with Somerset cider brandy and Potted Wild boar with smoked ham hock and sherry, we have a bit more work to do but they are nearly there..... exiting times!

We survived December and even managed a potted game Christmas party. The christmas jumpers and tree are safely back in their boxes and we are back in the kitchen getting our potted Wild Boar and potted Venison recepies refined and ready for the end of the shooting season.
Nearly there. After a month of Christmas fairs and potting, late nights and early mornings we are into our final week at Borough market before Christmas. The market is open all week, come down and see us if you get the chance. We still have a few pots of Grouse left but they are selling out fast!

It's our first day at Borough Market this Thursday so there is lots of Potting to be done! We will be launching our Potted Partridge with apricot and cashew nut followed by Potted Grouse with truffle in a couple of weeks time do come and say hello if you are in the area!
